Security Officer | Office-Based, Day Shift Job | Up to PHP19K
GoTeam is looking for three (3) Security Officers who are responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the assigned area by patrolling the premises, monitoring surveillance equipment, and responding to emergency situations. Through interaction with visitors, the security officer quickly guides them to their proper destination. They ensure the safety of the area they are assigned to watch and keep track of all incidents on-site. The officer is expected to provide excellent customer service to visitors and employees while maintaining a secure environment.

In this position, you will be:
- Welcoming and greeting everyone at the entranceway, ensuring a professional and courteous demeanor at all times to increase customer satisfaction.
- Securing the premises and personnel by conducting patrols, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points, and permitting entry in accordance with established security protocols.
- Conducting regular site inspections to ensure the safety and security of the entire office premises, identifying potential security risks and hazards, and taking appropriate action to mitigate them.
- Responding promptly to emergencies, providing necessary assistance to employees and customers, and alerting appropriate emergency services as required to implement security protocols.
- Providing safety and assistance during company events, ensuring a secure environment for all attendees, and taking appropriate measures to prevent unauthorized access or incidents.
- Delivering effective security services by maintaining a high level of vigilance, staying up to date with the latest security trends and practices, and recommending improvements to security procedures as necessary to implement security protocols.
- Fostering a customer-centric culture by providing excellent customer service to visitors and employees, responding to inquiries promptly and courteously, and building positive relationships with all stakeholders to increase customer satisfaction.
- Other tasks that may arise to collaborate with internal departments.
Skills and Qualifications:
- A High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in security or law enforcement is preferred
- Must have a thorough understanding of security protocols and procedures, including emergency response plans, access control procedures, and incident reporting.
- Must have the ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively and make quick decisions under pressure.
- Excellent English communication and customer service skills are essential to interact with visitors, employees, and emergency services personnel in a professional and courteous manner.
- Must be flexible with shift schedules and rest days
