Accounts Payable Coordinator | Onsite, Day Shift Job | Up to PHP30,000
GoTeam is looking for an Accounts Payable Coordinator to join the team who will be responsible for overseeing the accounts payable process and ensuring accurate and efficient entry of invoices for a portfolio of managed properties. The accurate maintenance of financial records relies heavily on meticulous data entry of invoices, making this role crucial. The ideal candidate will play a support role within the Accounts & Finance department, assisting the Manager in fulfilling their responsibilities effectively.
Your client is a trusted provider of professional management services for strata and community title properties in Australia. With a focus on customer satisfaction, they offer comprehensive solutions, including financial administration, maintenance coordination, and compliance. In this position, you will be:
- Accurately entering all contractor invoices into the Invoice Processing module of the strata management software system (Urbanise).
- Assigning invoices to the appropriate properties (Body Corporate) and allocating them to the relevant budget expense categories, adhering to the required payment method (EFT or BPAY).
- Monitoring and managing the accounts payable inbox, efficiently transferring incoming invoices to the Invoice Processing module.
- Creating comprehensive and meaningful descriptions for all accounts payable invoices entered.
- Entering new suppliers into the system, including their bank account details, and verifying their business and GST registration through the appropriate channels.
- Performing monthly bank reconciliations for each property, promptly reporting any discrepancies with monthly transactions.
- Preparing periodic and annual financial statements for properties, ensuring accurate and clean reports that align with approved budget categories.
- Continuously enhancing expertise in the accounting system and associated processes, adapting to evolving responsibilities and duties.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting role.
- Thorough understanding of end-to-end accounting processes.
- Proficiency in Excel, showcasing advanced skills in data manipulation and analysis.
- Meticulous attention to detail and exceptional accuracy in data entry.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Familiarity with strata management software (e.g., Urbanise) is advantageous.
- Knowledge of relevant tax and financial regulations is a plus.
