GoTeam is seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to join our team. As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web-based applications. Your expertise in web development, database management, troubleshooting, and security measures will be crucial in ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions.
Your client is a leading property management platform based in Australia, offering innovative solutions to streamline the rental process. With a strong focus on providing a seamless experience for both landlords and tenants, the platform simplifies property management through its user-friendly interface, automation capabilities, and comprehensive features. By leveraging technology and industry expertise, the client revolutionizes the rental market, making it easier and more efficient for property owners and renters to navigate the rental journey.
In this position, you will be:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining web-based applications.
- Creating and managing database structures while effectively organizing code repositories.
- Identifying, troubleshooting, and debugging application issues to ensure smooth functionality.
- Developing and implementing automated testing and code analysis processes for comprehensive software evaluation.
- Establishing and enforcing robust security measures to safeguard databases and applications.
- Monitoring application performance and devising strategies for continuous improvement.
- Collaborating closely with other development teams to ensure consistency and seamless integration of products.
- Staying abreast of the latest trends and technologies in the web development field.
- Staying updated on recent advancements in JavaScript and Vue.js to leverage new features and enhancements.
- Remaining vigilant regarding security updates and potential issues related to Vue.js and project dependencies.
- Building modular and reusable components and libraries to promote efficiency and scalability.
- Maintaining and upgrading existing systems, ensuring their reliability and optimal performance.
- Demonstrating a proactive commitment to adhering to team standard rules and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), fostering compliance and contributing to a cohesive and highly productive work environment.
Skills and Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Solid experience or in-depth knowledge in one or more object-oriented or functional programming languages such as NodeJS, Python, PHP, or Ruby.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in web development.
- Expertise in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with a strong understanding of modern web development practices.
- Proven experience working with Vue.js and NuxtJS frameworks.
- Experience integrating and maintaining external software libraries and APIs using command-line interfaces and package managers.
- Proficiency in working with PostgreSQL databases and executing efficient database management.
- Familiarity with cloud solutions and platforms, including but not limited to Heroku and Amazon Web Services.
- Demonstrated experience with Agile methodologies and working effectively in diverse team environments.
- Knowledge of both SQL and NoSQL databases and their implementation.
- Strong understanding and practical use of version control systems, particularly Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail, coupled with effective communication abilities.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team, contributing to a positive work environment.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp and adapt to new technologies and tools in the ever-evolving web development landscape.
