In this position, you will be:
- Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to enhance the functionality, performance, and security of VisualAccess.ai, ensuring a seamless user experience.
- Designing and developing highly resilient and scalable RESTful APIs, while optimizing database queries and designs to maximize performance and efficiency.
- Crafting clean, efficient, and meticulously documented code using Laravel 8 and Vue JS, following industry best practices and coding standards.
- Actively participating in Agile development processes, leveraging project management tools such as Jira and Trello to track progress and ensure timely delivery of features.
- Contributing to the implementation and integration of Electron and Machine Learning technologies, harnessing their potential to further enhance VisualAccess.ai’s capabilities.
- Taking a lead role in building security applications with a strong focus on adhering to HIPAA-compliance or PCI-compliance standards
Skills and Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in full-stack development, with a strong proficiency in Laravel 8 and Vue JS.
- Demonstrated expertise in designing and developing RESTful APIs, with a focus on optimizing database queries and designs for optimal performance and scalability.
- Proficient in writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code using Laravel and Vue JS, following industry best practices.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience utilizing project management tools such as Jira and Trello for efficient collaboration and project tracking.
- Experience or exposure to Electron and Machine Learning technologies would be advantageous, contributing to the implementation and enhancement of VisualAccess.ai.
- Background in building security applications, or prior experience with developing HIPAA-compliant or PCI-compliant apps, is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues efficiently and effectively.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, enabling seamless coordination with cross-functional teams including front-end developers, back-end developers, project managers, and designers.

Must be willing to work in a hybrid work arrangement, which includes periodic in-office work (on certain days every quarter) based in Cebu City, Cebu, as well as remote work for the remaining days.
