GoTeam is seeking a highly skilled and creative Motion Graphics/Video Editor to join our prestigious team. As an integral part of our creative force, you will harness your expertise in Adobe After Effects and Adobe Creative Suite to produce captivating motion graphics and enhance video content. In this position, you will be:  

  • Elevating existing videos with engaging superimposed motion graphics, ensuring the content captures the attention of viewers with added excitement.  
  • Demonstrating technical expertise and creativity by crafting seamless video compilations from existing footage, incorporating additional effects, and enhancing visual quality.  
  • Translating client or creative team visions into compelling video narratives that captivate and enchant the audience.  
  • Efficiently managing and organizing video assets, maintaining a well-structured system for easy access and streamlined workflow.  
  • Effectively communicating with clients or the creative team, understanding project requirements, providing updates, and incorporating feedback throughout the editing process.  
  • Upholding established standards for video and audio quality, visual effects, and overall production value.  
  • Staying updated with the latest video editing software, tools, and techniques to deliver high-quality output and improve productivity.  
  • Juggling multiple projects, adhering to deadlines, and prioritizing tasks effectively to deliver projects on time.  
  • Exhibiting strong troubleshooting abilities and finding innovative solutions to challenges that may arise during the editing process.  
  • Striving for excellence by continuously honing your video editing skills and staying informed about industry trends and best practices.  

  

Skills and Qualifications:  

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience as a Video Editor, showcasing previous video editing experience through a robust portfolio of edited videos, acquired either as a freelancer or in a professional capacity.  
  • Possess a strong skillset and hands-on experience with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly After Effects.  
  • Proficiency in video editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Avid Media Composer, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools is essential.  
  • Display a keen eye for detail, color, composition, and visual storytelling, showcasing creativity in your editing techniques.  
  • Excel in both written and verbal communication, enabling effective collaboration with clients or the creative team, understanding their vision, and incorporating feedback seamlessly.  
  • Exhibit the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, meet deadlines, and efficiently prioritize tasks.  
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot technical issues and discover innovative solutions.  
  • Adapt to remote and independent work scenarios, accommodating different project requirements and client preferences.  
  • Present a portfolio, showreel, or samples of your previous video editing work to highlight your skills and unique style. 

Must be willing to work in a hybrid work arrangement, consisting of working from the office for 1-2 days located in Cebu City, Cebu, and working remotely for the remainder of the week.
