Finance Administrator (with Xero Experience) | WFH, Mid-Shift Job | Up to PHP35K
GoTeam is looking for a Finance Administrator (with Xero Experience) who will provide administrative support to the finance department, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and maintain accurate financial records. The ideal candidate should have excellent organizational, and time management skills, strong attention to detail, and accuracy.
The client is a sustainable children’s clothing brand based in the United States, offering high-quality, ethically made apparel for kids aged 0-10 years old. Their clothing is made from natural materials such as organic cotton, linen, and wool, and they work with small, family-owned factories in Portugal and Peru to create their clothing. In this position, you will be:
- Processing and reconciling financial transactions accurately and in a timely manner in the accounting system. This includes processing invoices, receipts, and payments.
- Assisting the finance team in preparing financial reports, data analysis, and statements. This may include generating financial reports or analyzing financial data to support decision-making.
- Providing administrative support to the finance department, including maintaining financial databases, filing systems, and other related tasks as required. This may include organizing and maintaining financial records or other documents.
- Reconciling bank statements and investigating any discrepancies on a monthly basis to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Supporting the Wholesale team by collecting and tracking payments for orders daily to ensure timely processing and delivery.
- Communicating with the Customer Service team on payment errors, fraud, and other issues to ensure timely resolution and accurate financial records.
- Assisting with budget preparation and monitoring expenditures to ensure compliance with financial goals and objectives.
- Responding to inquiries and resolving any issues related to financial transactions to maintain customer satisfaction and compliance with financial policies.
- Performing other duties as assigned by the finance team, which may include ad-hoc projects or tasks to support the department’s goals and objectives
Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience as a Finance Administrator or in a similar role.
- A relevant degree or certification in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
- Basic junior experience/certificate related.
- Experience working within Google Workspace and Xero or a similar system.
- Ability to work within a team remotely.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated and driven with a willingness to take ownership of your time and workflow.
- Passion for slow fashion and living a sustainable lifestyle is a plus.
