AR Specialist | WFH (Cebu), Night Shift Job | Up to PHP30K
GoTeam is seeking an AR Specialist who will be responsible for reviewing work orders, field service reports, and invoices for accuracy, and maintaining customer portals. The ideal candidate will also provide support to Accounts Receivable for dispute resolution, communicate effectively with coworkers and client contacts, identify inconsistencies, and perform other duties as assigned.
The client is a U.S. Construction business that provides electrical services and smart technologies for both residential and large-scale commercial projects. With customer service as its top priority, this business was among the 2020 EY Entrepreneur of the Year awards winners.
In this position, you will be:
- Reviewing and verifying work orders, field service reports, and invoices for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to company policies and procedures
- Researching and resolving any discrepancies or issues related to invoicing or job costing, and escalating to the appropriate department as needed
- Communicating with customers and internal departments to address questions, concerns, and disputes related to invoicing or job costing
- Packaging, mailing, and emailing invoices to customers in a timely and accurate manner
- Maintaining customer portals and ensuring that all information is up-to-date, accurate, and accessible to authorized users
- Providing support to Accounts Receivable for dispute resolution, including researching and resolving customer inquiries and billing disputes
- Identifying inconsistencies or potential issues in invoicing or job costing processes, and working with management to develop and implement solutions
- Posting bills and other financial transactions accurately and in a timely manner, following established accounting procedures and guidelines
- Assisting with month-end close processes, including preparing and reconciling accounts receivable reports and other financial statements
- Performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management
Skills and Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field is preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related field
- Experience using ERP systems and working with field service reports
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to identify issues and propose solutions
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team to meet deadlines and achieve objectives
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced knowledge of Excel and Word
- Familiarity with accounting principles and practices, as well as relevant laws, regulations, and standards
