- Coordinating and reviewing titles and surveys, conducting in-depth analysis, and summarizing all relevant documents.
- Preparing comprehensive title objection and response letters, including handling title-related estoppels.
- Expertly resolving issues arising from title and survey analysis, ensuring smooth progress of real estate transactions.
- Efficiently preparing and filing UCC financing statements and procuring UCC lien and other essential searches.
- Conducting lease reviews and abstractions, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Creating and managing closing checklists, ensuring meticulous attention to critical dates.
- Drafting closing documents and relevant materials for acquisition financing, including affidavits and certificates.
- Obtaining necessary documentation from the Registry of Deeds and various governmental agencies.
- Assisting with diverse lease documents and reviewing due diligence materials.
- A Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 2 years of experience as a paralegal
- Possession of a paralegal certificate is highly desirable.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Extensive experience in complex real estate transactions, including in-depth due diligence expertise, title and survey review, commercial leasing, contract drafting and review, UCC filings, lien searches, critical date tracking, objection letters, transaction closings, and post-closing matters.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate clearly in business matters.
- Proficient time management and organizational skills, enabling efficient multitasking and prioritization of tasks and projects throughout the day.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a track record of delivering accurate work products.
- Demonstrated resourcefulness, exceptional research and investigation skills, discretion and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
