GoTeam is looking for a Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a pivotal player in driving data-driven insights through desk research and other sources to elevate our client’s brand positioning, marketing endeavors, and overall business triumph. Combining the expertise of a brand strategist, data researcher, and business analyst, this role will empower the company’s brand success by employing data-backed strategies and profound insights.  

Your client is a retail strategy and innovation business based in New South Wales. Their services range from advertising (consumer insights) to architecture (store design) to digital (eCommerce, advertising, loyalty programs) and design (product, presentation, people, and process planning.)

 

In this position, you will be: 

  • Performing competitor analysis, delivering clear and concise findings and opportunities for clients.
  • Analyzing specified categories to gain insights into category dynamics, financial performance, trends, and more. 
  • Extracting meaningful insights by collecting and analyzing data from diverse sources, including customer surveys, market research reports, social media, and website analytics. 
  • Collaborating with the Strategy Department to conduct foundational research and analysis, effectively shaping client strategies. 
  • Identifying and recommending valuable data sources that offer insights into customer behaviors, preferences, and trends for developing brand and marketing activities.  
  • Evaluating the success of branding initiatives and marketing campaigns using data-driven approaches. 
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams across the company as required. 
  • Performing financial analysis, ROI assessments, forecasting, and other financial assessments to support client business decisions. 
  • Identifying growth opportunities and potential business risks through data analysis. 
  • Developing and maintaining regular reports and dashboards tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) related to brand health, market share, and customer sentiment. 

 

Skills and Qualifications: 

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Data Science, or a related field is required. 
  • Proven track record in developing impactful brand strategies, conducting comprehensive marketing analysis, and executing business analytics with measurable results. 
  • Proficiency in utilizing advanced data research and analysis tools, such as Excel, SQL, Python, R, or other statistical software. 
  • Strong acumen in market research methodologies, adept at customer segmentation, and skilled in presenting data visualizations. 
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, empowering you to articulate complex data insights concisely to diverse stakeholders. 
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and creatively, fostering innovative solutions to address business challenges and optimize brand performance. 
  • Meticulous attention to detail, displaying an unwavering commitment to precision and accuracy in data analysis.
     

Must be willing to work in a hybrid work arrangement, consisting of working from the office located in Cebu City, Cebu for three days, and working remotely for the remainder of the week.
