Treasury Manager | Hybrid, Night Shift Job | Up to PHP50,000

 

GoTeam is seeking a Treasury Manager who will be responsible for managing the company’s cash flow, overseeing treasury operations and revenue of the business, and ensuring compliance with financial standards. This role requires exceptional financial acumen, strong leadership abilities, and a keen eye for optimizing cash assets. The Treasury Manager will play a critical role in maximizing profitability and safeguarding the company’s financial resources.

Your client is a specialized semi-trailer solutions provider founded in 1997 in Salt Lake City, Utah. They offer new and used trailer services including sales, leasing, rental, repair and maintenance, and parts from ten dealerships in eight states throughout the West, Southwest, and Midwest. They are committed to delivering exceptional customer service and providing in-house financing options to meet their client’s diverse needs.

 

In this position, you will be: 

  • Leading the month-end closing process for treasury, ensuring accurate recording of cash activity in the general ledger.
  • Perform daily cash positioning and reporting.
  • Managing the financial and monetary aspects of a business, which includes cash flow, liquidity, funding, and relationships with financial institutions
  • Ensuring compliance with SOX regulations within the treasury department, and maintaining proper controls over cash receipts, disbursements, and general treasury activities.
  • Reviewing, approving, and releasing electronic disbursements, and supervising and maintaining updated signatories on all bank accounts.
  • Developing and supporting treasury policies, procedures, and controls while supporting special projects and acquisitions as assigned
  • Overseeing monthly reconciliation of company bank accounts
  • Reviewing and approving ACH and wire payments, and managing corporate card transactions, ACH debits, and credit card activities.
  • Tracking and monitoring cash investment activities and troubleshooting daily transaction issues.
  • Reviewing and negotiating treasury contracts with banks and armored carriers and serving as the primary administrator on online banking platforms and other treasury systems.
  • Identifying and recommending process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Overseeing daily cash forecast and preparing cash position reporting while identifying opportunities for cash movements and documenting intercompany loans.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with banks, managing the global banking structure, and utilizing existing banking relationships to open, manage, and maintain domestic and foreign bank accounts.
  • Monitoring and managing bank account services and signatories, including account administration for opening, migrating, and closing accounts.
  • Evaluating and recommending appropriate banking products, services, and platforms.
  • Serving as the primary administrator on online banking platforms and other treasury systems.
  • Collaborating effectively with internal business partners, including AR, AP, legal, tax, and IT departments, and working closely with internal and external auditors during audit processes.
  • Planning, organizing, and controlling cash assets to satisfy the financial objectives of the organization

 

Skills and Qualifications: 

  • A bachelor’s degree in Accounting is preferred
  • CTP (Certified Treasury Professional) certification is desirable, and CPA certification is preferred.
  • Possesses a minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting and/or treasury roles.
  • Proficient in conducting bank reconciliations.
  • Exceptional communication skills for effective internal and external interactions.
  • Strong proficiency in analytical, financial, and systems skills, including advanced spreadsheet and modeling capabilities.
  • Knowledge of banking systems and prior experience with wire and ACH templates is advantageous.
  • Demonstrates self-motivation and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Demonstrates exceptional organizational and decision-making skills.
  • Proficient in consistently meeting deadlines and delivering results.
  • Displays strong project management skills to effectively plan, execute, and monitor tasks.
  • Exhibits leadership and management abilities to motivate and guide teams toward achieving objectives.
  • Possesses sharp analytical skills to analyze complex financial data and make informed decisions.
  • Pays meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in all tasks.

 

Must be willing to work in a hybrid work arrangement, consisting of working from the office on certain days located in Cebu City, Cebu.
