Skills and Qualifications:

  • A degree or relevant training in Marketing, Communications with experience in social media marketing  
  • Fresh graduates are welcome, as long as they have experience in managing social media campaigns for events (e.g., school fairs, university orgs) 
  • Must have graphics design experience (Canva experience – a must; other tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop – a plus) 
  • Social media savvy and on top of social media trends on Facebook, Instagram (Stories and Reels), TikTok  
  • Above-average writing skills  
  • Advanced knowledge on online marketing tools, productivity software (MS Office), and social media platforms  
  • Knowledge of third-party scheduling tools such as Agorapulse, Later, or Buffer  
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to produce high-quality work  
  • Experience in Canva

 

What You Will Do:

  • Work with the marketing manager and talent acquisition associate in managing social media content calendar  
  • Schedule approved posts for social accounts, guided by reports on the social media consumption habits of our different communities  
  • Assist the graphics designer in creating social media graphics and slides  
  • Must know how to use Canva, Photoshop/Adobe Illustrator experience is a plus  
  • Conduct hashtag research  
  • Can suggest appropriate and effective hashtags to generate traffic  
  • Gather photos, videos, and social media story ideas from the team, when needed 
  • Regularly review all social media profiles to make sure these are optimized  
  • Monitor social media channels and, as needed, respond to queries and other messages in our social media accounts or refer them to a team member who can provide a helpful response  
  • Study social media trends and stay up-to-date on changes in each platform (e.g. new features, paid advertising features, measurement tools, community standards, etc.)
