Process Engineer | Hybrid, Day Shift | Up to Php35K   

 

GoTeam is seeking a competent Process Engineer. A Process Engineer works with Internal Team members and clients to document existing processes and procedures and then analysis for ways to optimize for great output, less time, and increase accuracy. Process engineers use principles of technology and engineering to eliminate wasteful and inefficient processes in a production environment.

They focus on reducing costs, promoting safety, utilizing efficient materials, and saving time and energy. They’re responsible for analyzing processes, determining areas of improvement, communicating effectively, creating documentation, and implementing training for new procedures.

 

In this position, you will be:

  • Developing process improvements
    • QA Check 100% of Top 3 Procedure Documents and provide feedback to new hires within the first 10 Business days.
    • Analyzing existing processes and creating business cases for improvement
    • Conducting an annual audit on existing business processes
  • Analyzing processes
    • Assisting Client and Team members in feeling confident for all new hires in the first 10 business days of commencement
    • Analyzing processes that have been documented and checking to see if the team is following them
    • Reporting Processes on process improvements against the business case after 1 month of change
  • Training staff
    • Complete Process Mapping Documentation Training for more than 95% of new hires within 2 days of starting
    • Ensuring more than 95% of New Team members have created their first draft process map and procedures within 3 days of starting.
    • Completing Process Mapping Documentation Training Live Webinars 2 times per week.
    • Teaching team members how to document Processes and Procedures according to our company standard to work with our documentation and workflow tool, dothis.to
  • Developing and managing process documentation
    • Assisting Client and Existing Team members to document at least 2 Procedures
    • More than 95% of the Top 3 Procedures for new hires are documented in dothis.to within 8 business days of commencing
    • More than 80% of existing team members to have >2 procedures documented in dothis.to
    • QA Check more than 10 Procedure Documents per week for existing clients and feedback based on our procedure writing standard

 

Some nice-to-have skills and qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree graduate in Industrial Engineering is preferred
  • Knowledge of lean methodology (boosting efficiency without sacrificing productivity) isn’t always required, but it’s useful in many industries, candidates who understand the principles of lean manufacturing are preferred
  • Familiar with software/tools will be an advantage: MS Office (Intermediate Excel Skills, Powerpoint, Word), Process Mapping Software (Lucid chart), Workflow management software (Nintex, Kissflow), Automation tools (Automation Anywhere, Electoneek UIPath)
  • Communication skills – process engineers are strong communicators. This is essential because it’s crucial to effectively demonstrate to colleagues why suggested process improvements are essential to organizational effectiveness
  • Critical thinking – these engineers are responsible for solving problems and creating new systems to remove inefficiencies. Dealing with these issues and identifying the right approach to a problem area requires logic and strong reasoning skills
  • Adaptability – process engineers typically work as a member of several teams, which requires flexibility and adaptability. Candidates interested in this role should be comfortable working in a matrixed environment
  • Strong Work Ethic with a focus on team success
  • Attention to detail – allowing things to slip through the cracks can derail progress and cost valuable money and time
