Construction Project Coordinator | WFH (Cebu), Night Shift Job | Up to PHP50K

 

GoTeam is looking for a Construction Project Coordinator who will be responsible for supporting the Project Manager in planning, organizing, and coordinating construction projects. This includes assisting with developing proposals and estimates, coordinating contracts with subcontractors, managing schedules and budgets, communicating with project stakeholders, and facilitating project close-out.

You will be working with a client who is a seasoned contractor with over 20 years of industry experience in high-end residential remodeling, custom home building, residential rehab, light commercial, and restoration. In this position, you will be:

  • Assisting in developing accurate project proposals and estimates and facilitating obtaining estimates for work from subcontractors
  • Reviewing work proposals and estimates, identifying discrepancies, and providing solutions to negative impacts on the project budget
  • Coordinating contracts with selected subcontractors for projects and researching and procuring building materials for projects
  • Collaborating with the Project Superintendent to create, maintain, and update a detailed project schedule for subcontractors
  • Helping to facilitate project progress meetings, taking down notes, and issuing meeting minutes to appropriate parties
  • Communicating with the Project Superintendent and Project Manager daily to keep projects on track and minimize delays or issues
  • Creating a project specification book that includes all MEP equipment and finishes
  • Aiding the Project Superintendent in ordering and scheduling the delivery of all necessary materials and identifying long-lead time items to ensure timely procurement
  • Identifying and solving construction problems with timely and safe solutions and responding efficiently to project-related communication with clients, subcontractors, and vendors within 24 hours
  • Managing, facilitating, and organizing project submittals should look critically at the craftsmanship and anticipate potential problems
  • Recording Change Orders issued to all necessary parties and creating and submitting payment application packages for projects
  • Helping in tracking incoming subcontractor and material invoices, reconciling and maintaining the project budget
  • Assisting with project close-out, including ensuring all invoices are paid and accounted for, reconciling contingencies, change orders, and allowances, compiling and distributing project care and maintenance manuals to clients, and organizing and submitting final lien waivers and documentation
  • Following up and creating a final punch list before project close-out to ensure completion of work by subcontractors and meeting the goal of no punch list given by clients at project close-out.

 

Skills and Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a related role, with a preference for candidates with a background in construction.
  • Proficiency in software such as Gmail, Spreadsheet, Procore, Excel, Google Sheets/Docs, and Dropbox.
  • Diverse knowledge and skill set in both commercial and residential construction/engineering
  • Self-motivated and fueled by the success
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Multitasking abilities and always willing to learn and listen
  • Design/aesthetic-minded with attention to detail
