Skills and Qualifications:

  • Graduate of Marketing or digital marketing-related program.  
  • Engineering background (preferred, but not essential). 
  • Copywriting or journalism-related work experience (not a must).  
  • Familiarity with Australian/British English writing style and/or Oxford English Style Guide. All times in all communications are in AEST Australian Eastern Standard Time (or AEDT).  
  • Ability to understand work requirements and connect to business goals and objectives, therefore able to suggest improvements and innovate.  
  • Aptitude for learning software (and its processes).  
  • Good comprehension leading to writing and editing skills – good with English grammar and spelling.  
  • Strong attention to detail for grammar and online best practices (readability standards, call-to-action placement, etc.).  
  • Knowledge of marketing concepts and strategies, including lead generation, brand-building, and customer profiling.  
  • Working knowledge of social media marketing, in particular, Linkedin (basic to intermediate).  
  • Ability to handle basic editing of photos, videos, and other media.  
  • Creation and editing of basic graphics and images.  
  • Copywriting skills for both short-form (posts and emails) and long-form (blogs, articles, and case studies) types of content (not a must).

 

What You Will Do:

  • Marketing:   
    • Manage LinkedIn profiles as per specific standards and guidelines (2-3 hours per day)   
    • Edit photos, videos, and graphics (basic).   
    • Manage website content – You will have back-end direct access to a website platform.   
    • Post on other social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter) – low priority   
    • Design, improve, and keep track of all marketing collateral – flyers (profile, product description), icons (email signature, header, profile pic, etc), business cards, letterheads.
  • Operations / Administration:
    • Maintain CRM data (Keap) and implement broadcast emails.  
    • Create, format, and improve PowerPoint presentations (training materials).   
    • Improve and format client reports.   
    • Create templates, forms, and reports, as required.   
    • Troubleshoot basic IT issues/problems and assist with IT support (e.g., software update or installation and coordinate service support with software provider (e.g., Microsoft, Apple, Keap, LinkedIn, etc.)   
    • Document procedures and business processes of major aspects of the business (client contact and service delivery, sales process, client relationship, lead generation, etc.)   
    • Research, migrate, and commission a new CRM (potential future project).   
    • Manage events attendance, registration, and preparation of online training sessions.   
    • Attend and administer online training sessions (supporting the training facilitator),   
    • Search, improve, and maintain software applications based on user needs.   
    • Improve and manage file storage.   
    • Document meeting discussions.  
    • All other required administrative tasks as they come up.
  • Content-related work:  
    • Research and gather information and data on content-related topics.   
    • Repurpose content from previous/old content.   
    • Create case studies and success stories (information and data to be provided).   
    • Review posts for LinkedIn as they get published.   
    • Create and update content for LinkedIn posts.   
    • Create email newsletters and other content.
  • Behaviors and Values:

    • Be willing to accept mistakes, receive feedback, and learn from them.  
    • Stay open and honest in communicating concerns such as being unable or taking too long to do a task.

  • Other Tasks: 
    • Complete tasks per week as assigned and agreed upon, in a timely manner.  
    • Meet targets on the number of marketing collateral created and improved.  
    • Measure LinkedIn KPIs (as per spreadsheet) – timely posting, number of messages sent, posts liked.  
    • Strive for positive feedback from clients as a result of work above.

Your client is a management consulting group that has worked with businesses across different industries in Australia since 2013. They help their clients drive cultural change and help teams better understand and apply  Lean Six Sigma, problem-solving, quality systems, and financial literacy.

 

IMPORTANT: While this is a hybrid (home and office) arrangement, if any recurring issues arise i.e. internet connectivity, power supply issues, background noise, and alike, you shall be requested to work in the nearest GoTeam office or accredited establishments.
