Data Entry Specialist | Remote, Night Shift Job | Up to PHP30K

 

GoTeam is seeking a competent Data Entry Specialist. This role is for the blacklist removal from our mailing lists and database subscribers in the state of California.

Your client provides multi-channel direct marketing services and leads a business that has been named one of the “Best Companies to Work For” in Florida. Their wholesale and target email marketing services have been proven to drive the right audiences to their client’s websites and stores.

 

In this position, you will be:

  • Reviewing of the pending and incoming data removal requests via email inbox, currently from one specific company.
  • Reviewing consumer privacy requests currently being received from one specific company that includes individuals’ personal data for removal/blacklisting
  • Attaching POA (Power of Attorney) on all requests
  • Taking applicable data from requests and locating user(s) in the database via blacklisting tool, blacklist user(s) if found, and or add applicable user(s) data to blacklist manually if users do not exist in the database.
  • Querying data from incoming requests within the blacklisting tool, by email address, postal address, and or first/last name
  • Revising and updating data submitted in user requests, certain address attributes to meet USPS abbreviations matching internal database as well as having to possibly remove characters or forms of punctuation within the name or postal address to meet internal database requirements.
  • Blacklisting for individuals will need to be added and confirmed via one or more of our blacklists pertaining to the data submitted.
  • Confirming the completion of request via email per templated response (upon completion of user data is added to blacklist)
  • Specifying the correct template to use based on the specifics of the request for confirming completion to the submitter via the email mailbox specified.
  • Confirming first with the manager before proceeding in an event where information provided within a request is not applicable or does not meet internal requirements.
  • Tracking all completed requests in an excel spreadsheet or google sheet.
  • Tracking and documenting each completed request within Google Sheets specified upon completion of the request.
  • Mindful of data pertaining to completed requests should not be added to Google Sheets until submitters’ data has been added to blacklist(s) and email confirmation has been sent

 

Some nice-to-have skills and qualifications:

  • Able to follow directions very carefully
  • Must have some basic computer skills
  • Can communicate with the team via email or Microsoft Teams.
