Bookkeeper | Hybrid, Night Shift | Up to Php30K   

   

GoTeam is seeking a competent Bookkeeper who will be responsible for receiving and filing invoices, overseeing vendor transactions, maintaining a general ledger, tracking client records, and assisting in audits. 

Your client is a US business that provides the highest-quality remote monitoring and data logging solutions, which streamline their clients’ businesses and save them money. They’ve been in the business of high-quality electronic monitoring systems since 1948.     

   

In this position, you will be:  

  • Receive and File Invoices:    
    • Checking that the invoice amount matches the payment schedule on the contract. If there are any questions or discrepancies, this person should work with the stakeholder to resolve the issue.    
    • Issuing a Payment Request for bookings.    
    • Monitoring accounts payable and receivable.    
    • Processing invoices and accounts receivable.  
        
  • Oversee Vendor Transactions:   
    • Completing credit control and maintaining an ongoing register of customer contact relating to such.    
    • Filing and entry of debtor’s documentation.    
    • Filing and entry of creditor’s documentation.  
        
  • Maintain General Ledger:   
    • Preparing a monthly balance sheet and P/L within QuickBooks.    
    • Reconciling bank accounts.  
    • Entering data, and maintaining records and reports, and financial statements.  
        
  • Track Client Records:   
    • Tracking expenses, budget, taxes, cash flow, receipts, and other financial dealings of the company.    
    • Recording transactions such as income and outgoings, and posting them to various accounts.

 

  • Assist in Audits:   
    • Supporting Operations team with ad hoc analysis and any research projects as required for audits.    
    • Creating standard and bespoke reports related to finance and performance in connection with audit and compliance. 

   

Some nice-to-have skills and qualifications:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or related field preferred.     
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.   
  • Proficiency in accounting software; can process transactions and invoices through QuickBooks.    
  • Ability to compile information and make decisions.   
  • Enjoys working under pressure.   
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.   
  • Proficiency in accounting software    
  • Analytical skills.
