Billing Specialist | Hybrid, Mid-Shift Job | Up to PHP40K

GoTeam is looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Billing Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will primarily be responsible to produce accurate and timely invoices, managing discrepancies, generate purchase orders, and credit memos. You must ensure organized financial records and review monthly balances across departments to monitor revenue streams and overhead costs.

In this position, you will be:

• Responsible for generating invoices, purchase orders, and credit memos.
• Sending invoices to the client
• Managing revenue streams and overhead costs.
• Ensuring accurate monthly balance reviews across departments.
• Maintaining organized financial records of invoices and other documents.
• Creating bills and invoices, calculating credit terms, shipping charges, discounts, and costs of goods.
• Checking invoices and billing documents for accuracy.
• Liaising with customers to update accounting records with issued invoices, processed payments, new balances, and customer contact information
• Collaborating with the Billing Officer on billing issues and reports

Skills and Experience:

• A Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required.
• At least 2 years of experience in a billing specialist position, with experience in cost and revenue reviews, is preferred,
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be keen on details.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP software is expected
• Must have a working knowledge of XERO, Quickbooks, MYOB, and other accounting software.
• Proficient in problem-solving with a broad understanding of systems and procedures to tackle complex issues
• Skilled in analyzing diverse scenarios and applying critical thinking to make sound decisions.
• Possess excellent social skills, with the ability to establish and maintain positive interactions with customers.
• Strong work ethic with a focus on team success
• Self-sufficient and able to work with little direct supervision
