Accounts Receivable Collections Analyst | Full-Remote, Night Shift Job | Up to PHP35,000
GoTeam is looking for an Accounts Receivable Collections Analyst to join the team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing the collections process and ensuring prompt payment of outstanding invoices. Your core responsibilities include analyzing customer accounts, proactively communicating with customers to address payment statuses, and implementing effective strategies to optimize collections efficiency. By diligently carrying out these responsibilities, you will contribute significantly to maintaining positive cash flow and minimizing bad debt for the organization.
You will be working with a property management company based on the West Coast of the United States that caters to the corporate and residential housing requirements of communities across over 30 cities. The company enables its clients to pursue their opportunities, interests, relationships, and family wherever they may take them by providing flexible housing solutions.
In this position, you will be:
- Monitoring and managing the collections process, reviewing and analyzing customer accounts, identifying delinquent accounts, and initiating collection activities.
- Contacting customers via phone, email, or other means to follow up on overdue payments, resolve payment discrepancies, and enforce payment terms while maintaining a professional and customer-centric approach.
- Working closely with the accounts receivable and billing teams, reconciling payments received, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring accurate and timely application of payments
- Investigating and resolving payment disputes or discrepancies by coordinating with customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders, providing necessary documentation, and supporting the resolution process.
- Analyzing and reporting on the aging of accounts receivable, identifying trends, potential risks, and areas for improvement, while regularly updating management on collection status and key performance indicators.
- Developing effective collection strategies to improve cash flow, reduce outstanding receivables, and identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, or system enhancements.
- Maintaining positive relationships with customers, collaborating with sales teams to understand customer issues, and developing strategies to resolve payment challenges while ensuring collections goals are met.
- Prepare and present collections reports, including aging reports, cash flow forecasts, and collections metrics, providing insights and recommendations to enhance collections performance.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and regulations related to collections and accounts receivable, staying updated on collection laws and industry best practices.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, such as sales, customer service, and finance, to streamline processes, resolve customer issues, and optimize collections efforts.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in Customer Service Representative (CSR), Accounts Receivable, Revenue Accounting, Accounts Payable, or related roles is preferred
- Proficient in using Netsuite or other Accounting ERPs
- Excellent English language communication skills, both written and verbal
- Individual contributor at a junior level, capable of working independently and taking ownership of assigned tasks.
- A strong desire for career growth and development within the field.
- Non-technical skills focused on providing outstanding customer service, effective communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and build positive relationships with stakeholders
