Admin Assistant | Work from Home, Day Shift | Up to 30K   

 

GoTeam is seeking a competent Admin Assistant who will be responsible for day-to-day operations and administration tasks. Will maintain a record of deals and support the operation of the client’s funds.

The client is into venture capital fund investing in Australian Technology Business startups. They help start-up companies become successful businesses.

 

In this position, you will be:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day administration of the client’s Funds (including 2022, 2021, and syndicates)
  • Maintaining records of deals and orderly processes to support the operation to pass audits and show a high standard of record keeping and operational discipline.
  • Ensuring completion of deal checklists for deals.
  • Collecting information from portfolio companies and measuring performance against budget.
  • Liaising with external administration and other services providers (e.g., accounting, tax, outsourced fund administrator) to ensure taxes are paid on time
  • Ensuring reports are produced for external stakeholders (e.g., insurance, Government)
  • Assisting bookkeeper in matching receipts to invoices
  • Assisting with updating budgets and other operational matters.
  • Developing policies to show compliance and proper management of the fund
  • Preparing reports for investors and regulators about the progress of the fund and its attainment of milestones and compliance with policies
  • Maintaining compliance with Australian financial services laws or their equivalent foreign laws (as applicable).
  • Looking for ways to improve processes and streamline the operation
  • Doing research on companies, markets, and potential clients

 

Some nice-to-have skills and qualifications:

  • At least 1-2 yrs. of experience as EA/Admin assistant
  • Experience working in financial companies as Admin Assistant is an advantage
  • Ability to operate and collaborate in a virtual setting/Online
  • Self-starter/Eager to learn
  • Can handle Project Management admin task
  • Must be detail-oriented
