Accounts Receivable Billing Analyst | Full-Remote, Night Shift | Up to PHP35,000

GoTeam is looking for an Accounts Receivable Billing Analyst to join the team. In this role, your main focus will be on ensuring precise and punctual billing processes throughout the organization. By analyzing billing data, reviewing invoices, and collaborating with diverse teams, you will be responsible for guaranteeing billing accuracy and resolving any discrepancies. Your pivotal role contributes to maintaining impeccable financial records, optimizing revenue recognition, and facilitating efficient cash flow management.

You will be working with a property management company based on the West Coast of the United States that caters to the corporate and residential housing requirements of communities across over 30 cities. The company enables its clients to pursue their opportunities, interests, relationships, and family wherever they may take them by providing flexible housing solutions.

In this position, you will be:

• Overseeing the end-to-end billing process, including data analysis, invoice generation, and distribution, and ensuring adherence to billing policies and procedures
• Conducting a thorough analysis of billing data, including sales orders, contracts, and pricing information, to verify billing accuracy. Collaborating with sales, finance, or operations teams to address any identified discrepancies or issues.
• Verifying and validating invoices for accuracy, including pricing, discounts, and terms. Ensuring compliance with contractual agreements, customer-specific requirements, and relevant regulations.
• Investigating and resolving billing discrepancies or disputes raised by customers or internal stakeholders. Work closely with cross-functional teams, such as sales, customer service, and finance, to address issues promptly and provide appropriate resolutions.
• Ensuring proper revenue recognition in accordance with accounting standards and company policies while collaborating with the finance team to address any complexities or inquiries related to revenue recognition.
• Maintaining accurate billing documentation and records, including supporting documents, approvals, and audit trails, and organizing records in a systematic manner to facilitate internal or external audits.
• Responding to customer inquiries regarding billing, providing prompt and accurate information. Assisting customers with billing-related questions, and resolving concerns effectively.
• Identifying and implementing enhancements, automation tools, and system upgrades to streamline and optimize the billing process for improved efficiency and accuracy.
• Preparing and analyzing billing-related reports, offering insights and recommendations to drive decision-making and enhance process efficiency.
• Ensuring adherence to accounting principles, regulatory requirements, and company policies, staying updated on changes to ensure billing processes remain compliant.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Revenue Accounting, or other accounting-related roles.
• Experience using NetSuite or other Accounting ERPs  (Enterprise Resource Planning systems)
• Junior-level individual contributor with a strong drive for career growth and advancement.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
• Strong analytical abilities to analyze billing data, identify discrepancies, and propose effective resolutions.
• Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accurate and precise billing processes,
• Sound knowledge of accounting principles, regulatory requirements, and company policies related to billing.
