Accounting Specialist | WFH, Night Shift Job | Up to PHP53K
GoTeam is seeking an Accounting Assistant with expertise in daily bank reconciliations and proficiency in using electronic communication to notify team members of any discrepancies.
Your role will involve collaborating with a client to fulfill their vision of establishing a quick-service restaurant in Toledo that serves freshly prepared Asian and Chinese dishes in an open kitchen, granting customers the opportunity to observe the food preparation process. The client highly values exceptional 5-star service and strives to provide the finest Asian cuisine in the Toledo region, and your assistance will be crucial in achieving these goals.
In this position, you will be:
- Conducting daily bank reconciliations and providing details of financial transactions.
- Informing team members of any discrepancies electronically and taking necessary steps to address them.
- Generating and submitting reports regularly, including financial and operational reports.
- Answering phone calls and providing exceptional customer service to all callers.
- Consistently exhibiting exceptional customer service skills, going above and beyond to meet customers’ needs.
- Maintaining an organized virtual filing system for easy accessibility of company records.
- Completing miscellaneous tasks and other duties as required.
- Assisting other departments when required to ensure smooth business operations.
- Performing payroll processing, which includes calculating and disbursing employee payments
Skills and Experience:
- Completed a Degree in Accounting
- Has 2-3 years of relevant work experience in restaurant operations, reconciliation, and payroll
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, emphasizing Microsoft Excel, to manage and analyze data efficiently.
- Effective and efficient communication skills through chat and in-person interactions to facilitate effective communication across the team.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a people-oriented approach to work, with the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team or work independently.
- Self-starter, highly motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Strong work ethic, sense of urgency, and positive attitude toward work.
- Displays a high level of attention to detail and organizational skills to perform tasks effectively.
- Capable of multitasking and managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
